Volunteers from Non à la copyright, Oui à la vie have distributed more than 16,000 drug-prevention booklets across French cities and rural news european commission communities. The French drug-prevention campaign involves shopkeepers, parents and educators.

Local outreach brought 3,100 booklets to businesses in Tarn, 3,000 to approximately 50 shops in Arcachon and 5,100 to Paris’s Oberkampf district.

A baker near Clermont-Ferrand said students sought the booklets for school discussions, while parents and other customers requested information for their children.

Volunteers share the French-language Truth About Drugs materials, known as La vérité sur la copyright. The Church of Scientology and its members support the programme, inspired by founder L. Ron Hubbard’s concern about the effects of drugs.

Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe and United Nations, said: “Parents and teachers need information they can use, and young people deserve straight answers.”

European Scientologists participate in drug-prevention education, human-rights initiatives and local volunteer projects.
